No access to shares

Help. I cannot browse my shares through radiator or any other way. All is get is windows cannot access and this code. 0x80070035. Have reinstalled firmware and radiator. I can access the frontview and change the settings.

I just dont know how to go any further as I am a novice.

Do you have a duo V1 or a V2? (if your firmware is 5.x.x then you have a v2. Otherwise you have a v1).

Also, can you clarify exactly how you have tried to access your shares from windows? (which shares, what procedure you used on the Windows machine, etc).

Hi thanks for your reply. I have a v1. I have tried to access the shares via the browse button on raidiator. Im afraid i dont know what you mean by what procedure that i used on the windows machine.

by "radiator" Do you mean RAIDar, or FrontView?

From Windows, normally you open windows explorer (not internet explorer) and enter

\\NASNAME\sharename into the address bar.

You can also enter \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\sharename , where the "xxx..." is the IP address of the Duo.

Either way, you will likely get a prompt for username / password. You can enter admin and the password you configured on the DUO.
