"Empty No Support" when downloading logs: Case # 18779133

Postby jalonso_fast2002 » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:01 am

Hi,

I get "<payload>Empty No Support</payload>" page when I Download All Logs. "Backup configuration files" doesn't work either.

After rebooting I cannot open any file. I can see and navigate the whole filesystem, but when I try to open a file I get "File not found" error.
Then, if a login as "admin" user, I can open every file and after that, if I login as a normal user I recover the access rights again. It's driving me crazy

I didn't make any update recently (as you can see by my RAIDiator version)

I would appreciate any help

Model: ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.15

Best regards,

J Alonso

Do you have any add-ons installed?

Have you tried an OS Re-install?: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu

I would also advise updating to the current firmware.

Firmware update may fail also, if it does, sounds like root volume is full. At that point you need to contact Support to remote into the system.

I think you are right about the root partition. I run about 15 backup jobs and this generates huge backup logs. After last backup job the system behaved this way.

What's the root partition capacity?

Is there any other way for accessing the root partition but contacting Support?

Thanks for your support,

Root partition is 4GB in capacity. It's where the NAS OS/firmware is installed. This way the OS and configuration is stored on a separate partition to the disks.

Does sound like it's full. Contact support as suggested and edit the thread title (I.e. subject of first post in the thread) to include your case number.

Problem routed to Support. Case # added to subject.
