Has anybody had much luck with this yet? If so, which method did they use to install, Apt-get install munin munin-node, or use the sources gzip and build that way?

I had major hassle doing it with the Apt-get method, to the point where I couldn't access via SSH or Frontview. Had to run the OS Repair via the boot menu. :( So I've held off on having another go for now. :D

Got this working this time with no problems. Not sure what I did different this time, I didn't think I changed tack at all, but I guess I must have done, because it installed very simply this time around.

Once I'd done the "apt-get install munin munin-node" and worked my way through the dependencies to get it installed, (always a worry!) it was just a case of editing the munin.conf as per the standard instructions on the Munin site.

I've only played with it a short time, but so far it seems an excellent option. If anything it's probably over kill for my needs, but we'll see once I delve deeper.

WhoCares? which version did you use, I've kept it on v1.5 but wondered if you had tried the newer v2.0 on the RDN?

I've binned this off again for now. It stopped working, so I fiddled until it worked again, and now it's stopped working again, so I'm calling it quits and have removed it again. It was overkill for my needs anyway TBH, but maybe a bit later down the line I'll set myself back on to it, or maybe try ETZ' MRTG suggestions.
