Transmission disabled

I have just started using Transmission, having previously used BitTorrent. Every time I reboot the NAS Transmission becomes disabled and I think every time the router reboots this also happens although I'm not 100% as it seems to be quite random. So I keep having to reenable it in Frontview. Why is this?

Also is there any way to change the colours of the progress bar. They seem to be set to complete and incomplete elements being very similar shades of green. Can I change the completed element to something a bit more obvious.
