NV+ acting as Duo

Postby Chilipepper » Sun Jul 08, 2012 10:37 am

Hi,

I just bought a ReadyNAS NV+ (v1) with 4 disks.
I installed the disks and upgraded the FW to RAIDiator-4.1.9.
When I use RAIDar, it shows it as a ReadyNAS Duo. Same for FrontView.
Result is that only 2 disks are seen and used as a RAID 1 set.

I already tried re-installing FW, and factory defaults, but no success.

Anybody seen this before, and maybe have a fix?

Thanks

It should say ReadyNAS NV+ in the upper right corner of Frontview. So something is clearly wrong.

Since this is new, you should either start with Netgear Phone support or do an exchange with the seller.
