As you may know, memory is one of most sensitive components found in computer systems. Thus there is a chance that replacement memory modules from third-party vendors may not work in your ReadyNAS system. NETGEAR warranty will continue after replacing/upgrading your memory module. But we may not be able to help with data recovery from data loss caused by replaced memory modules. Technical Support may require you to place back original memory in your system if issues are encountered, before diagnostics can be performed.
