What file system does ReadyNAS use? Can I read a disk from ReadyNAS on other machines?

The ReadyNAS uses Linux Ext3/Ext4 file system. A typical Linux distribution can mount and access the data from the disks.

For PC data recovery of arrays from Sparc ReadyNAS, see: http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=306

x86/ARM data recovery procedure is different.
